Pixel 8 Pro gets almost full spec list ahead of launch event.

The Pixel 8 Pro is chosen with an improved 6.7-inch screen and optimized photo configuration for a good cost-performance ratio, with Google again relying on AI optimizations to maximize the results obtained.

Expected in early fall , the Pixel 8 series is already receiving an almost complete list of specifications, published on Twitter by Yogesh Brar (Yogi Bear), also appreciated in the past for revelations related to Google's yet-to-be-released products. Thus, the short list of specifications includes the 6.7-inch screen with QHD+ resolution and OLED LTPO technology, animated by the Tensor G3 chipset. The phone's configuration will also include the Titan chip, a hardware solution customized by Google to improve the security of Pixel phones.

In the photo department we have a 50MP main camera with optical stabilization, a 64MP ultra-wide camera and a 48MP telephoto camera. The front camera only comes with 11MP resolution, but it will definitely be helped with optimizations on the image processing side. Returning to the main camera, it would be based on the Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor, launched in 2021 and optimized to maximize low-light performance, using 1.4μm pixels (compared to 0.6μm for the 200MP sensor offered by the Galaxy S23 Ultra)

In the basic equipment, the Google Pixel 8 Pro would have 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with the 256GB version being available as an option. The battery will have a respectable capacity of 4950mAh, but the charging power capped at 27W via USB will pass as sufficient at most.

The real "power" for the Pixel 8 series will come from Android 14, with the hardware/software combination optimized by Google to deliver the best possible experience to Android fans. As for the release date, the current deadline seems set for October, it remains to be seen if it will be respected.
